Monitoring Lifetime Data for a Failure Censoring Reliability Test with Replacement Using Shewhart Type and Exponentially Weighted Moving Average Control Charts

چکیده
Lifetime data has two distinguishing features: they are usually censored and have non-normal distributions. Generally speaking, censoring schemes can be classified into (i) with replacement (ii) without replacement. Replacement during a life testing means that once observing failure item, it is replaced by new one. While there relatively large body of literature regarding control charts under replacement, i.e., the second type schemes, designing for first not yet received considerable attention. In this paper, types developed to monitor lifetime an exponentially distributed item. To obtain information data, conducted: n items randomly selected put on test simultaneously. The continues until r (r≤n) failures. During test, time, Development Shewhart weighted moving average main novelty current study. Comparative simulation studies conducted. ARL curves also derived respect different parameters process.

Grouped Data Exponentially Weighted Moving Average Control Charts
In the manufacture of metal fasteners in a progressive die operation, and other industrial situations, important quality dimensions cannot be measured on a continuous scale, and parts are classified into groups using a step gauge. This article proposes a version of exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control charts applicable to monitoring the grouped data for process shifts. The run l...
متن کاملUsing exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) charts
1. Unlike X -R and Individuals charts (without the Western Electric Handbook rules which aim to increase sensitivity), all of the data collected over time may be used to determine the control status of a process. 2. The EWMA is often superior to the CUSUM charting technique for detecting "larger" shifts. 3. EWMA schemes may be applied for monitoring standard deviations in addition to the proces...
متن کاملExponentially Weighted Moving Average Control Charts for Monitoring Increases in Poisson Rate
The exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart has been widely studied as a tool for monitoring normal processes due to its simplicity and efficiency. However, relatively little attention has been paid to EWMA charts for monitoring Poisson processes. This paper extends EWMA charts to Poisson processes with emphasis on quick detection of increases in Poisson rate. Both cases with...
متن کاملDistribution-free exponentially weighted moving average control charts for monitoring unknown location
Distribution-free (nonparametric) control charts provide a robust alternative to a data analyst when there is lack of knowledge about the underlying distribution. A two-sided nonparametric Phase II exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control chart, based on the exceedance statistics (EWMA-EX), is proposed for detecting a shift in the location parameter of a continuous distribution. The...
متن کاملExponentially weighted moving average charts for detecting concept drift
.Classifying streaming data requires the development of methods which are computationally efficient and able to cope with changes in the underlying distribution of the stream, a phenomenon known in the literature as concept drift. We propose a new method for detecting concept drift which uses an Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) chart to monitor the misclassification rate of an strea...
